Abstract:

We describe a geometric approach to subdifferential calculus in infinite dimensions. This approach utilizes the normal cone, the optimal value function, and coderivatives to derive subdifferential calculus rules. New formulas for Fenchel Conjugates and coderivatives in these abstract settings will also be presented. Time permitting, we will also discuss recent work in DC Programming with applications to multifacility location and set-clustering optimization problems.
