I worked on integrable systems (solitons) and related mathematics
for a long time, but not so much any more. Nowadays my time is devoted
to not getting anywhere with problems about random graphs, matrices, and
Young diagrams. This summer, I was introduced to data assimilation and
time series analysis, and am now learning more about these topics. Which
is why I go to the UQ group meetings.
