Topics: First order differential equations, and second order linear equations. Applications, including mechanical oscillators. Additional topics from Laplace transform, numerical methods, and partial differential equations. Solution methods and applications appropriate for science and engineering.
Textbook: Boyce and DiPrima, Elementary Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems, 9th ed., Wiley.
Homework will be assigned but not collected. Two Tests will be given. Final Exam counts the equivalent of two Tests. The Grade for the course is determined by the best three of these four scores. Test and Exam problems come directly from the Homework.
Test #1: April 25
Test #2: May 16
