About the OSU/UO Relativity Seminar

The joint OSU/UO seminar series on general relativity and related topics consists of individual talks on topics such as black holes, cosmology, cosmic strings, quantum field theory in curved space, solutions of the Einstein field equations, etc. The level should be appropriate for graduate students with some knowledge of or interest in differential geometry and/or general relativity and related areas of mathematical physics. Undergraduates with a strong background and interest in mathematical physics are also encouraged to attend.
We meet roughly twice a month, alternating between Eugene and Corvallis. For further information, and to coordinate transportation, please contact one of the following people:

OSU: Tevian Dray (Mathematics), Corinne Manogue (Physics)
UO: Jim Isenberg (Mathematics & ITS), Bob Zimmerman (Physics & ITS), James Imamura (Physics & ITS)
