I will talk about certain stochastic cascade structure that can be naturally associated to the 3D incompressible Navier-Stokes equations and how this stricture can be used to study existence and uniqueness of solutions. In particular, we will see how the phenomenon of stochastic explosion could be useful to understand issues of non-inqueness and finite-time blow-up. This talk is based on the joint work with Tuan Pham, Enrique Thomann, and Ed Waymire.
