Thank you for your interest in the OSU Graduate Program in Mathematics. Successful applicants to our graduate program are enthusiastic about studying mathematics and have demonstrated potential for graduate level work in mathematics. Our typical MS or MA student enters with an undergraduate degree in the mathematical sciences including previous coursework in linear algebra and introductory real analysis. Entering students frequently have had some prior exposure to mathematical research. Students usually enter our PhD program from a Masters program, either here or elsewhere.

Please send an email to graduate information if you have any questions about applying.

We are welcoming applications from prospective graduate students.  Please submit all materials -- letters, transcripts, course lists, etc. -- directly to the Graduate School. Files which are complete by Jan 16, 2012 can be reviewed for University-wide felllowships.
