We consider expanding dynamical systems on the compact ring of p-adic integers and establish randomness properties of almost all forward orbits. In the arithmetic case we expect statistical uniformity for all rational, non-preperiodic forward orbits. We give examples showing strong pseudo-randomness behavior for individual forward orbits.
