Mathematics PhD candidate Madison Phelps received news of SIAM and department travel support to attend and present at a minisymposium at SIAM Annual conference in Montreal, Canada, in July 26-August 1, 2025.

Another Mathematics PhD candidate, Praveeni Mathangadeera, was accepted to and received funding to attend Summer School and Hackathon on Structure-Preserving Scientific Computing and Machine Learning organized by PIMS Collaborative Group at University of Washington.
