Abstract:

We introduce Sobolev Spaces and explore some of their basic

properties such as seperability, reflexiveness, and the density of smooth

functions within the space. We then discuss H^s spaces as defined by the

Fourier transform and the idea of fractional order spaces, ending with the

statement of the Sobolev embedding theorem and time permitting some brief

uses of Sobolev Spaces.
