Abstract:

In the study of partitions and overpartitions, the moments of rank and crank functions often carry combinatorial information. We have generalized the established moments to "fantasy moments," objects that should behave as the moments of some unknown rank or crank. We show how the recent inequality results of Larsen, Rust, and Swisher extend to the fantastic case, and time permitting, where the fantasy has been realized.
