Bridgewater State University is a medium-sized, masters-level institution located within an hour’s drive of Boston, Providence, and Cape Cod. The Department of Mathematics is located in the new $100M Center for Science and Mathematics and serves over 350 majors. In addition to other programs, we offer a BS in mathematics with a concentration in statistics. We are searching for a statistician or probability theorist who is passionate about contributing to this program and is dedicated to working with undergraduate students. The university generously supports the work of faculty through internal grants for faculty research, teaching, travel, and undergraduate research.
