We offers an 8-week summer research program for graduate students in Mathematics or a related field. The program is called GRIPS (Graduate Research in Industrial Projects for Students). It is a research program where the students work in teams on projects that are sponsored by an industrial partner. It is offered in two locations:
- GRIPS-Berlin is in Berlin, Germany, together with our partners at the Mathematical Optimization and Data Analysis Laboratories (MODAL).
- GRIPS-Sendai is in Sendai, Japan, together with the Research Alliance Center for Mathematical Sciences (RACMaS).
This program is open for US graduate students or permanent residents in mathematics or a related field. More information about the two programs and a link to the respective application pages can be found at:
