Abstract:

The process of getting involved in undergraduate research or creative work with a faculty mentor can be intimidating, especially for students who are new to OSU. We’re here to help! Join us for a workshop where we’ll discuss the benefits of working with a professor at OSU and how to identify and contact the professor you want to work with. You’ll also have an opportunity to hear about the URSA Engage Program, which provides first and second year students, and transfer students in their first year at OSU, paid opportunities to pursue research or a creative activity under the guidance of an OSU mentor.

Sophie Pierszalowski is the Associate Director of Undergraduate Research and oversees OSU's Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, & the Arts.
