Abstract: 

Modern technology has provided us with sensors that give partial information about the world. Noisy partial information from a single sensor is of little use, but when combined with other sensors via a Kalman Filter we can get a surprising amount of information about the world around us. Kalman Filters are used in a variety of applications including navigation, drones, and autonomous driving.
