Abstract:

Random tree structures are interesting constructs that can be used naturally in modeling some physical systems. Recently some interesting connections between partial differential equations and random trees have come to light. The goal of this talk is to give a short introduction to some types of random trees and point out some simple connections to partial differential equations.
