In today's society, it is easy to lose sight of the myriad of females in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Does society discourage women from pursuing STEM? Who are the females in STEM? How do we encourage and sustain a significant female presence in STEM? This talk will demystify societal assumptions and roadblocks by providing a clear vision of the female landscape in STEM.
