I retired as professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University in the summer of 2022 and accepted a position as instructor at Oregon State University.

Currently, my hobbies are reading and running. I'm also interested in native plants and look forward to learning more about the plant life in Oregon.

Books that I've recently read and enjoyed include *Alice Munro: Selected Stories* and *Stranger in a Strange Land*.

My most recent race was the Crystal Creek Half Marathon in Eddyville, Oregon, on September 21, 2024. (I'm slow but persistent.)
